Welcome Records drops thundering releases with Little Comp of Horrors Vol. 3

The annual compilation stars both established artists and upcoming talent, spanning across multiple genres.

The Filthy Beat Inspectors are always listening and on the lookout for the latest heavy-hitting beats in the bass music community. Recently, the walls of our departments have been housing agents who are on the lookout for something more...something different.

A fan favorite of the Dubstep FBI, Kayzo has always been known to shock the crowds with his incredible performances as well as his commanding of the stage. Pushing boundaries of the bass genre has never been an issue of his, and shedding light (or dark bass) seems to be the norm with artists who have graced the Welcome label.

With the third volume of this compilation containing 13-tracks spanning across genres such as drum n' bass, dubstep, hardstyle and even trap, fans are guaranteed to find a song that tickles more than their fancy.

With a majority of the talent coming stateside, the compilation also includes producers from the other side of the world like KartyPartyy from Thailand as well as Komb and Shadw from Japan.

Halloween is my favorite time, so we do this thing called the Little Comp of Horrors. It’s about highlighting upcoming talent who haven’t been given enough recognition."

- Kayzo

See what some of the amazingly talented artists of Welcome Records had to say about their latest tracks out now!

"I was starting to get really into acid techno and trying to broaden my scope of what I listen to...I took that acid style and combined it with my old trap style and wrote something that created a new boundary." - High Zombie

Sounding like a track straight out of the blood rave from Blade, this hybrid release that so effortlessly blends two completely different styles contains even a break that continues to build up your energy. Headbanging and ass-shaking are both guaranteed to be a result from listening to 'Make History'. With two genres that may seem on different ends of the spectrum, this weapon of a producer has brought them to a heavy medium and is poised to surprise you with what's to come in the very near future.

"I came into this track wanting to stick with my heavy roots, yet push my boundaries to bring a new and heavier sound of LAYZ."

This young and powerful woman of the bass industry has been nothing short of an absolute beast lately. Her sounds have rattled bones and wrecked rails across the nation, and lately her presence was felt at dubstep Disneyland with her performance set to be released on November 1st. To imagine an even heavier version of herself seems insane as her recent releases on labels like Subsidia have been amongst the heaviest of hitters. LAYZ asserts herself as a force to be reckoned across this industry with 'OUTBURST', and continues to prove why the future is female.

From halfway across the world, Kayzo welcomes KartyPartyy (Thailand) to Welcome Records.

"Life is like climbing a mountain, so it's vital we celebrate each mini victory. For highly motivated people like myself, each victory only fuels the fire inside of me for more. GAME ON!"

- KartyPartyy

I've always been a huge fan of tracks that contain acoustic aspects like the drum and guitar, so when I heard 'GAME ON' for the first time I knew the replay button was going to be heavily abused. Pre-pandemic this man was posting some of the craziest videos on his Instagram account, melting faces and wrecking rails. Relatively new to the music industry KartyPartyy has established himself as one of the biggest names in bass throughout Thailand.

One of my favorite things about the music industry and dubstep especially is that it's always evolving, and with evolution comes endless expansion. This genre is constantly producing new talent that the world has yet to discover. Kayzo with Welcome Records and their latest 'Little Comp of Horrors vol.3' take another huge step towards global recognition and acceptance for the genre that we have all come to know and appreciate endlessly. The future emanating from this label and the artists that it highlights looks like an interestingly bright one indeed.

Music will always find a way to where it is needed most.

We are ALWAYS listening...
