Our riddim construction supervisors have been called to the job site for an 'Operator Error'
Imagine yourself in a sea of bright orange vests. You're in the middle of a mosh pit and everyone around you has a totem. The bass drops and mayhem ensues.
These are the sights and sounds of Versa.
Now, the workplace hazard-themed artist has delivered a new violation: his Operator Error EP on Malignant Music. This four-track EP paints a picture of Versa's brand — a brand of forklift-themed, dubstep fantasies.
He's quickly risen to become a household name in riddim. From Forbidden Kingdom MainStage to fiery performances overseas, Versa is now one of the most coveted producers in our scene.
Clearly, Marauda's label sees that too.
Operator Error EP Tracklist
Mechanical Demolition
Operator Error
Small Talk
Noise Bois (with TRAWMA)
Two of the most criminal violations from this EP include Operator Error, the title track, and Noise Bois with TRAWMA. These songs had our agents writing up OSHA violations immediately.
Small Talk is a highly anticipated song that has finally been released after being on the dub plate circuit since 2021.
Versa twists robotic machinery vocals throughout the tracks, telling the story behind his construction-themed project in new ways.
We saw him absolutely demolish the Wasteland stage with these tunes at EDC Mexico in February. He made Denver's Mission Ballroom crumble when he dropped Operator Error to a violent crowd in March.
Catch Versa in a city near you
We're expecting even more illegal performances as Versa continues on his tear, playing upcoming sets at Forbidden Kingdom and Rampage Open Air (via a b2b with Mad Dubz).
For our forest fam up north, Versa will be headlining Inferno Detroit on Friday, June 14 alongside DumDum, HAMRO b2b SQISHI, Sanzu, Chango b2b 7 and more. This spot solidifies Versa's brand in the Great Lakes market, proving that the sea of orange vests is truly a national flex.
Versa is also playing a massive headline show at 1720 in Los Angeles on Saturday, June 15. The warehouse venue has housed incredible riddim sets recently from legends like Infekt, and some are even calling LA the "real bass capital" of America now.
The 1720 show features direct support from Akeos, and other performances by Deucez, 7 b2b Chango and Hexx.
It's safe to say that Versa is growing like a crane in New York City. We're here to survey the job site and make sure that his riddim sounds are safe for workplaces worldwide.
