Seven Lions, Ophelia Records return to Nocturnal with label staples Wooli, Jason Ross, Gem & Tauri

Here are our four can't-miss sets from members of the world-renowned music label, performing in Southern California next month.

With numerous eyes and ears added to our agency recently, our senses have never been more sharp for those who bring their unique skill and sound to the industry. The Filthy Beat Inspectors are always on the lookout for releases to quench our insatiable thirst for bass music.

As festival season is in full swing, the lineups just seem to be increasingly impressive as the years carry on.

Two years ago, Ophelia Records headed by Seven Lions, lit the music industry on fire with the talent they brought to their very own stage takeover at Nocturnal. Composed of artists from genres not solely of melodic dubstep, this was a stage where Ophelia had fans of widely popular genres from melodic bass/house, dubstep and riddim all full of content.

Placed in the heart of San Bernardino County, the Glen Helen Amphitheater provides the perfect layout for music festivals. With the mountains as a background and the open air landscape, this venue truly allows festivalgoers to indulge in the art and share the true love for music with one another.

Here are the four Ophelia sets you can catch us at during Nocturnal Wonderland 2023:

For over a decade, Jeff Montalvo aka Seven Lions, has brought the music world to its knees with melodies that not only tug at the deepest heart-strung emotions but also bring such high energy.

Fresh off a tour for his debut album Beyond the Veil, Seven Lions unveiled a level of production that was absolutely mind-blowing. From the deep rhythms of psychedelic trance to hard hitting bass, Seven Lions brings it all and more to his performances. Expect an insanely large crowd composed of diehard SL fans from his official fan group Codex Leonis. Forever a fan favorite, you will definitely not want to miss the Ophelia boss' set.

2. Wooli

There are few artists in recent years that have had a faster rise through the ranks than the mammoth of bass himself.

Not only are Wooli's tracks bonafide bangers, but his collaborations with some of the biggest names in the game (Excision, Illenium, Subtronics) ensure that all fans of bass music across the globe have heard this man's sound. The energy is sure to be at full throttle from start to finish and the lasting effects of this special set will have you reminiscing in the days post-festival with social media going crazy for some time.

Audiences have seen and heard Jason Ross at some of the biggest festivals in the world from EDC and Dreamstate to across the pond at Tomorrowland.

With roots deep in trance, Jason continues to release on Anjunabeats all while transcending his melodic bass persona on Ophelia. Jason has also been known to engage with his large fanbase the Atlas Fam, bringing a sense of connection all fans crave with their favorite artists. Known also for integrating the hard hitting sounds of hardstyle in recent sets, Jason Ross' set is one that will be sure to provide a full range of popular sounds guaranteed to satiate the crowd.

Gem & Tauri continue to make waves in the melodic house scene. From playing tour venues to now being regulars at festival main stages across not just the country but the world, few artists hit the ground running quite like this pair.

One of our most recent interviews was actually with this pair when we caught them before their set at Seven Lions' album tour in Los Angeles and we couldn't think of a more genuine and personable pair that is so deserving of all their recent success. Be sure to bring comfortable shoes, the sounds of Gem & Tauri will have us all dancing to their unmatched vibes for the entirety of their set.

Don't just take our words for it. Go on and make the trip out to sunny SoCal and enjoy the sets these amazing artists have planned for you! Whether you've seen them before or it'll be your first time experiencing an Ophelia artist's set, let us know who you're most excited to see! Keep an eye out for our post-festival article and set reviews. See you all there.

We are ALWAYS listening...
