RENN highlights moments of inspiration and triumph with 'Power'

Rising bass music artist RENN draws the attention of the Filthy Beat Inspectors, drawing inspiration from within.

The Filthy Beat Inspectors are always listening and on the lookout for the latest heavy-hitting beats in the bass music community. Recently, the walls of our departments have been housing agents who are on the lookout for something more...something different.

This time around, we were introduced to a talented producer and his latest work. The beautiful aspect of being a part of this music community is the constant surprise that comes with discovering talent that was previously unknown to our senses. Out now on Simplify Records, Nathan AKA RENN is bringing the Power.

Check out the track below as well as some brief interview questions we had in order to pick the brain of RENN.

What sort of inspiration sparked your idea for Power?

"When life seems to be harsh on you, sometimes you just need to meet the right person to give you that little spark, to bring you back the energy and confidence that once fueled you. Power is literally the statement of the song and that’s exactly what the listeners need to hear in order to fully embrace a triumphant feeling".

The sense of strength and overflow of self-worth are just a handful of the many feelings that overtake the listener when the play button is initiated for this track. As with most melodic bass tracks, RENN truly does orchestrate a journey for his fans on which many can relate personal feelings to.

If the RENN project were to have a mission statement or a purpose, how would you put that into words?

My brand is mostly represented by a triangle that symbolizes myself, the passion behind the art, and the musical art that helps me to tell that story. Together, these three elements create the strongest form of art in my opinion and if someone can relate to this in any kind of way then that is an accomplished mission for me.
