RL Grime, Zomboy, Flosstradamus, Jantsen, Leotrix, and SAAS brought big energy and wild vibes to the stage for day 2 of PHXLIGHTS.

After getting melted into the floor during day one, the crowd was ready to be blown away with bass during day two, and the artists did not disappoint. SAAS and Leotrix kicked off the night with some wonky wubz, getting the crowd loose and excited for the night. The energy during Jantsen was unsurprisingly off the charts, and when our street team member was doing some on-site crowd interviewing, we learned his set was the reigning favorite set of the night. Our favorite response was “I shook so much a** to Jantsen, I think it’s gonna fall off”.

Flosstradamus may or may not have blown the speakers…twice. The set was just too fire for the racetrack to handle, but the speakers bounced back and the crowd kept bouncing. Of course, our favorite AZ basshead street team member was more than excited for Zomboy to bring the bass straight to her face, and he did not let her down. The entire crowd was left with broken necks and achy backs.
Long-time ravers were struck in the feels during RL Grime’s set, and of course the rave babies were living their best lives too. Having the weekend closer set filled with so much nostalgia was the energy everyone needed to cry a little, hug their best friends, and leave with the biggest smiles.

There was not a single set this weekend that didn’t live up to, and beyond, expectations. We’re thankful to have been able to cover the return of PHXLIGHTS and we’re already so excited to see what’s in store for next year, and other upcoming fests at the Phoenix Racetrack. Huge thank you to Relentless Beats and the PHXLIGHTS teams for having us this weekend!
