Coming out with a bang, the last single off Nitepunk's upcoming, debut album just dropped, and it's appropriately named Too Hot To Touch.
It's no surprise that this track rips. Nitepunk has curated his sound to be one of the most recognizable in the bass music scene.
He delivers this track on Insomniac's HARD Records with his signature style, mixing together bold-electronic, punk and stand-out vocal elements to create an absolute heater.
If you've been following his appearances recently, this track may sound familiar. After playing it out on an episode of Brownies & Lemonade's Beat Smash, Nitepunk expressed that the original vocal sample from a Kelis song was posing difficulties getting approved. Refusing to give up on this track, he switched things up to get the clear.
"I changed the sample, rewrote my lyrics, and my friend re-recorded it," Nitepunk explained. The world needed this song, and he is just as excited as we are that it's finally out.
There's no denying that 2022 was a massive year for Nitepunk. He played shows across the country, on top of releasing a handful of impressive singles. His 2022 releases included: Grounded, Black and Colors, Point (his hit collaboration with Habstrakt), and his official remix of Noisia's Mantra.
Nitepunk has been expeditiously blazing his own trail, and it seems he has no intent of slowing down anytime soon.
With his highly anticipated debut album dropping next month, we can expect Nitepunk to really be TOO HOT TO TOUCH this year.
