The historically haunted site of Camp Ramblewood sets a chilling tone, pairing dubstep and decorations with an 1841 mansion from the former Underground Railroad.
These eerie elements will encompass Nightmare Festival, which is back for its 11th anniversary at the Darlington, Maryland site. Hosted by the creators of Big Dub Festival, this event will take place Oct. 28-31, with nearly 70 artists spanning four stages.
The festival is bringing out a fully stacked lineup with rising dubstep artists such as OG Nixin, Odd Prophet, Phiso and more filling out the second phase. Main-course headliners are The Glitch Mob and Virtual Riot, with special guests Modestep, Ivy Lab, Kill Bill and TVBOO.
Adding to the excitement, festival directors have hinted at a surprise artist that has still yet to be announced...

"Many things had to be postponed due to the pandemic which made it difficult to get the line up together," said Festival Director Nicole Tossas, "But as time passed, things started to fall in place."
