The larger-than-life bass artist will be showcasing a near field audiosphere listening experience, the first of it's kind at the historic venue.
Mersiv's biggest headline show ever is coming, and it's an audiovisual experience that will abduct Red Rocks.
Mersiv Rocks 3: Attack on Mars is taking place Friday, April 4, 2025, with five support artists who are well-known among Denver fans.
Mersiv announced ALLEYCVT, Mr. Carmack, Lumasi, Zen Selekta and Seth David as the full lineup. A stacked card that brings both new and established talent to one of our favorite venues in the world.
This time will be a little different, though. Mersiv and his team have partnered up with AKA Event Productions to bring fans a new experience that has never been done at this venue.
"We are excited to showcase a potentially new idea that, to our knowledge, hasn't been done at this venue," said Andrew Kirschman, the owner of AKA Event Productions. Kirschman is also the front-of-house engineer for the Mersiv Sound Project.
"This year, we thought of a way to bring the audio to each listener, so the audio is going to be surrounding the audience," Mersiv said.
The sound team will place different sources from the bottom to the top on each side with minimal overlap. This is similiar to the Mersiv sound deployment that was done at the Caverns in Tennessee, which included an object-based surround sound system placed outside the crowd pointing in.
"Our objective with this version of the audiosphere is going to be to create a near field listening experience, one like you might have at a studio for everyone whether you're in the front row or the top of the ampitheatre," Kirschman said.
This is one of Mersiv's favorite venues in the country, so fans can count on this being a night for the books. If you are a fan of Mersiv or any of the artists on the lineup, kick off Red Rocks season with this bass event.
