Kompany comes into 2025 guns blazing with his second collaboration of the year on Monstercat, this time with Careless Castle
Jawbreaker is truly a voyage through the world of dubstep. Featuring thunderous drops, metallic basses, gun shots, and gripping breakdowns, Jawbreaker is signature for everything Kompany is known for.
It’s always exciting when an artist’s new release has their identity so firmly stamped on it – it’s clear that Jawbreaker is no exception.
Jawbreaker is the second release of the year for Kompany, who has already collaborated with Adventure Club and Sarah Benyo for their hit track ‘Set Me Free.’
“Me and Careless Castle have been making music together for about a decade now, and it’s super exciting to get this collab out especially as roommates.”
The personal connection between the two, being roommates and long-time collaborators, adds a unique layer to the track that makes the track even more special.
“This one has been a standout in my sets for the past few months and it meshes both of our production styles super well!”
Between the enthralling pre-drop fake outs and the absolutely huge initial bass drops, this is some of Kompany’s finest work in the dubstep scene to date.
Kompany is slated for a breakout spring and summer schedule, with shows at venues such as Red Rocks (B2B Level Up), EDC Vegas, Brooklyn Mirage (B2B Dion Timmer), and Forbidden Kingdom for a very special B2B set with Layz.
Fans attending these flagship events are absolutely sure to hear Jawbreaker and all the rest of the new music Kompany has been cooking up over the long winter.
