Two words: Unnecessarily hard.
Shadient has been on fire lately, and this release just doubled the size of his flame. Embodying the very definitions of violence, chaos and everything in between, IDC is a dangerously perfect combination of all the sonic elements that make you want to break shit.
IDC starts off with a mischievous and slightly unsettling intro. It then builds up into an explosive drop filled with a monstrous bass. The second drop is just as vicious, pretty much giving us a whole 3.5 minutes of pure rage. We're not surprised by this energy from Shadient. He's a master in it- it's just what he does.
If you've been following Shadient for a bit, you're probably just as stoked as we are to finally see him on Sable Valley. It felt like a long time coming, and it's a match made in heaven. This song specifically feels like the perfect fit for his debut on RL Grime's prestigious record label.
"Not kidding this is the best tune I've ever fucking made man," Shadient said.
Even after dropping his ridiculously sick EP titled He Is Here on Gud Vibrations back in June, this UK based producer continues to pump out heat. Luckily for us, it doesn't seem like he plans of stopping anytime soon.
With this dream release fulfilled, the next goal is to get Shadient back to the states to play some shows and wreak some havoc. Currently in pursuit of his visa, it's only a matter of time until he is here.
Until then, keep running up IDC, out now on all platforms.
