The foreboding track channels a similar energy to ‘Death Rail’ & ‘Death Games’
Brace yourselves for a spine-tingling new release from Hi I'm Ghost and INVCT.
Their latest collab, entitled Event Horizon, is a hair-raising showcase of menacing beats and ominous soundscapes. The track marks a thrilling addition to Hi I'm Ghost's impressive collab roster and exudes the producer duo’s trademark infusion of spooky vibes and earth-shattering bass drops.
This new release comes as Hi I’m Ghost concludes a successful tour alongside fellow bass producer Barely Alive. With the tour having spanned coast-to-coast, Hi I’m Ghost continues to prove his place as one of the most formidable names in bass music. INVCT, on the other hand, is boldly emerging onto the dubstep scene with this latest release.
When asked to elaborate on the track, Hi I'm Ghost reminisces on past works, stating:
"The song is sonically a throw back to the early theatrical work to Death Rail, Death Games, etc. I've been using this track as a closer for live shows. The song goes through the story of a ship that finally meets the Event Horizon. EHR is a physics term for when black hole meets something else and does bad shit. I'm super excited to be expanding the original theatrical Hi I'm Ghost epic sounds again."
Event Horizon has been met with positive reception thus far, with the song making its way onto Hi I’m Ghost’s sets on Barely Alive’s ‘Feel The Panic’ tour.
With Hi I'm Ghost's established reputation and INVCT's rising profile, this collab is set to leave its mark on the dubstep scene and haunt listeners for months to come.
Event Horizon is available for streaming on all platforms as of today.
