EAZYBAKED prep for Memory Palace EP with sinister lead single, 'NO'

The Florida-based duo are maintaining their scorching momentum with a dark, foreboding bass tune.

EAZYBAKED NO

Florida bass music duo EAZYBAKED have evolved into one of the bass scene's hottest acts, and have now been tapped by none other than Of The Trees for an upcoming EP release on his hallowed Memory Palace imprint. The EP's cryptic lead single, NO, sets the table for a defining moment in EAZYBAKED lore.

EAZYBAKED, comprising of childhood friends Andrew Principe and Eric Ray, have spent several years establishing themselves as a force of nature in the leftfield bass music scene. The tone of their music ranges from bombastic to emotive and remains ever-unpredictable with each new release.

NO is described by EAZYBAKED themselves as "the most unsettling track on the EP," and it's easy to see why. The track's prominent bass stabs are the standout component of the tune, as they paint a haunting image in concert with a crisp drum pattern.

“We want you to feel like you've committed a crime when you listen to this," EAZYBAKED said. "Think 'DO NOT ENTER' vibes. The closer you get to the end, the harder it is to walk away."

The track involves a few different samples throughout, one of which is a recording of Principe's daughter saying "NO." Fans of bass collective Lab Group will instantly recognize another, as it is pulled from JAWNZA's hook on HD (produced by Player Dave).

This latest offering from EAZYBAKED contains rich audial textures and organic-sounding production befitting the fantastical, videogame-like vibe of Memory Palace. NO is a clear indication that the duo have every intention of continuing to push boundaries and explore their artistic versatility as their career continues to skyrocket.
