Following the releases of standout singles, BEAMS and PLAY IT TWICE, bass virtuoso INFEKT is back with his highly-anticipated 8-track VEGGIE GAMES EP on Monstercat Uncaged.
The rise of INFEKT as a headlining act in the bass and riddim scene has been nothing short of explosive.
INFEKT has a powerful discography that resonates across the dubstep spectrum, with industry heavyweights such as Skrillex, Four Tet, Subtronics, NGHTMRE, and Marshmello (who he shares a collaboration with), frequently featuring his tracks in their sets.
Everyone loves a good ole INFEKT double.
Every track on the VEGGIE GAMES EP is a testament to INFEKT’s mastery of bass, seamlessly blending his OG-influenced styles with fresh, innovative sound design.
“VEGGIE GAMES has some of my proudest work to date. Over the last year I’ve progressed so much in sound design, mixdown, and overall quality, and I’m stoked to finally reveal it,” said INFEKT.
Each record pushes the boundaries of bass through niche production techniques and tools.
Notably, INFEKT utilizes Bitwig’s Spectral Suite to create distinctive basses, highlighting his technical mastery and vision.
“Every track has a different flavor and influence: Some styles are more OG, some ultra futuristic, some deeper and understated - all inspired by the incredible energy people have been bringing to my shows and my unstoppable hunger to find new ways to create crazy bass sounds and flows!” INFEKT added.
After seeing INFEKT for the first time at Forbidden Kingdom, it’s clear he draws inspiration from his electrifying live performances.
INFEKT has quite literally infectious energy whenever he hits the decks – it’s something fans and everyone in attendance can really feed off of.
INFEKT recently finished up his VEGGIE FRIENDS headline tour that spanned over 40 stops with sell outs in nearly every major North American city, including Denver, Los Angeles, Seattle, Tampa, and Vancouver, among the many.
With VEGGIE GAMES, INFEKT not only reestablishes his position in the dubstep scene, but also sets a new standard of bass -- a level of production only a technician can achieve.
Fans and newcomers alike should look forward to hearing the EP at upcoming sets at Tomorrowland, Hard Summer, Bass Canyon, and Lost Lands.
