Codd Dubz unleashes ‘Canal Street Crook’ EP on Monstercat Uncaged

Where hip hop meets dubstep in the big apple—buckle up chop mob

Your boy Codd Dubz just dropped Canal Street Crook on Monstercat Uncaged, and this EP is the epitome of real New Yorker shit. It’s already making waves in the canal, so if you haven’t heard it yet, you’re missing out on some serious heat.

Each track on this EP is like a different slice of New York pizza—distinct, flavorful, and totally satisfying.

Codd Dubz is no stranger to blending genres, but this time he’s really outdone himself. This EP is a mix of rap, hip-hop, and dubstep that hits like a graffiti tag on the walls of Canal Street. You know, the kind of art that’s bold, raw, and just oozes street cred.

That’s what Canal Street Crook is—five tracks of pure, unfiltered NYC energy.

“Growing up and coming from a hip-hop-influenced background, that style of music has always had an influence on my production," Codd Dubz said. "Canal Street Crook combines different styles of hip-hop with different styles of dubstep. My goal for the EP was to have every track bring something different to the table.”

And you know what? The chop master himself nailed it.

This EP is like a walk down Canal Street itself—chaotic, gritty, and full of surprises. It’s the kind of music that makes you want to throw on your freshest kicks, hit the subway, and just vibe out.

If you haven’t checked out his Volume 7 mix from Pioneer HQ yet, do it now—just prepare for your brain to be sliced into six pieces.

Oh, and if you’re heading to Lost Lands next month, make sure you catch his set. We’re calling it now—there’s gonna be mosh pits going off the entire time.

Stay locked and we'll see you all at Lost Lands.
