From Riot Ten to VERSA, things are about to get spicy south of the border with Insomniac's 10th Anniversary Edition of Electric Daisy Carnival Mexico.
EDC is always a treat. Whether it be the classic Vegas Speedway experience or the juicy Orlando take down south, we continue to crave the production and sounds that only Insomniac festivals can deliver.
This year, our agents are fleeing the border and preparing to attend EDC Mexico February 23-25 at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez in Mexico City.
This year marks the event's 10th anniversary, and attendees are in for a flaming hot treat.
With 200+ artists, six stages and several art cars, our agents will be on duty within a wonderful world of pyrotechnics and performers. The lineup is stacked with some heavy dubstep and riddim sets that we are expecting will satiate our thirst for the hottest bass around.
Whether you're going to see massive headliners or want something a bit more underground, this gargantuan festival has something for us all.
This will be our first international Insomniac festival investigation, and the expectations are high. Here's our list of must-see sets at Mexico's Electric Daisy Carnival this month.
VERSA, Friday at wasteLAND

If you're looking to open the construction pit up, look no further than a VERSA set. He's known to provoke feral behavior among crowds who show up wearing a sea of bright orange vests. His massive sunset performance at wasteLAND will be a highlight of the weekend, and we know a wave of his Mexican fans will show up strong.
Bagha b2b Deceiver with Special Guest Sanzu, Friday at wasteLAND
Here at DUBSTEP FBI, we love the underground. Our hype has now gone through the roof with the recent announcement that Sanzu will be joining Bagha b2b Deceiver at wasteLAND for a massive day 1 performance. We've been supporting Bagha for a few years, and he became an FBI alum after his Riot Control Radio 054 mix about one year ago. Now, we'll finally have the chance to see him play alongside these other two talents.
NVRT, Friday on the Boombox Art Car
NVRT is yet another underground Mexican artist who has been on the FBI's Most Wanted for over a year now. His Riot Control Radio 064 mix shook airwaves to the point where we've been dying to see him live ever since. Now, we finally have our chance as he plays Friday on the Boombox Art Car.
Jessica Audiffred, Saturday at kineticFIELD
This will be a flagship, hometown hero-type set that no one should miss. Jessica is known as "La Reina" all throughout Mexico and South America, and is responsible for quickly growing the bass music community through her Mad House events in Mexico City. Now, she's been granted a well-deserved MainStage headline set that will spark pits and split speakers with her high-energy performance.
Samplifire, Sunday at wasteLAND
Samplifire has been exploding in popularity since last summer. Not only did his Firestorm EP release on Disciple become one of the most streamed EPs of the year, but he's been touring non-stop and delivering unforgettable sets that fans crave. Now, he's heading south of the border to satiate the thirst of fans who have already been buzzing about his set on social media.
LEVEL UP, Friday at wasteLAND
LEVEL UP has quickly become one of the leading female dubstep producers in the world. She's been non-stop touring and delivering unforgettable sets all over North America. Mexican fans are in for a treat as she will be dominating the wasteLAND stage on Friday.
ATLIENS, Saturday at wasteLAND

The ATLiens have proven that they are indeed creatures from another world. Not only have they been on a non-stop tear, selling out venues around North America, but their brand continues to distinguish them from the rest as their identities stay hidden. We'll be curious to see what they play, and how much pyro accompanies this upcoming Mexican performance.
Nanoo b2b Kepler, Saturday at wasteLAND
Welcome to the Quarantine Zone. Nanoo and Kepler are both producers on the come-up that should not be slept on. They both played killer solo sets at EDC Mexico 2023 and we can't wait to see what they cook up for this b2b. Beware that there will be lots of headbanging and zombie screaming.
RVMDON, Friday at wasteLAND

This will be a flaming hot hometown performance for the young producer, RVMDON, who is known for bouncy tunes and aggressive sets. At the festival in 2022, he went back-to-back with FBI Alum Bagha, and now he's locked in a solo set at EDC Mexico. Our agents are on high alert, as he's hinted at "starting a riot" over on the wasteLAND stage... sounds like something we'll need to bring "Riot Control" in for. See you there.
Riot Ten, Sunday at wasteLAND
Last but not least is our favorite, Riot Ten. If you love dubstep and want to experience the true culture of Mexico, this is a set you cannot miss. Riot Ten is known to sprinkle in some hits like La Chona and El Sonidito while also throwing down some of the heaviest music. No neck braces or rails will be safe. Don't say we didn't warn you!
It's safe to say, you'll find us in the pits at EDC Mexico. And while we'll be parked at wasteLAND for a good majority of the time, you can find us bouncing around from art car to MainStage, investigating the hottest sets of the weekend.
And for those who will be around on Thursday, February 22, we are partnering with Blazy Susan to throw a pop-up at the Weed Place from 3-9 p.m. We will be handing out a bunch of goodies and we might have some special guests pull up to play a live set... stay locked.
